the green alcove

                    ......is a small, independent business located in  Richmond Virginia.  We offer eco-friendly home accessories, gifts, artwork and lifestyle items at The Shops at 5807 on Patterson Avenue.  This is a very unique concept. Within an eclectic space there are 19 individual vendors who share the same vision....to bring to the marketplace unique products for the discerning buyer.

 Cynthia Hannan , the owner of  the green alcove, has worked in the corporate gift-giving/promotional products industry for over 15 years....initially, as Vice President of RSVP Corporate, a corporate gift-buying business, located in New Jersey... then as an independent contractor for an Ad Specialty/Promotional Products company in the Richmond, Virginia and Washington, D.C. area.  In 2004, the focus of her company changed to offering corporations  recycled glass awards and promotional items from recycled and sustainable resources.  The corporations were excited about the message and the company grew.  In 2006 another opportunity presented itself with The Shops at 5807 which helped to change the direction of the company again.......

vendors who offer a variety of eclectic items, the green alcove brings to the marketplace luxury finds from around the world that are made from recycled and sustainable resources.  Home accessories, gifts, artisans and lifestyle items are well represented in the green alcove.....and looking forward to sharing space within other 'Shops' across the country.
